Backcountry Movie Night - Chasing Ice

Explore the backcountry casual style from the comfort of an arm chair. There are a plethora of documentaries about expeditions near and far and backcountry preservation, instructional videos on all modes of self-propelled adventure and movies captivated by our theme. These videos are as much entertainment as they are stimulating for ideas on destinations and techniques for our own backcountry meetups.

Meetup

Option 1:

Meet early to talk and for a beverage, perhaps at the Princess Cafe or Coffee Culture on King Street, or another proposed venue, around 6:00PM to 6:30PM then make a mass exodus towards the cinema to buy tickets and meetup with the rest of the group who may have went directly to the cinema.

Option 2:

Meet in the foyer of the Princess Cinema around 6:30PM.

Suggestions

This meetup suggestion is in the "beta phase." To bring movie night to fruition requires a venue for the showing, relevant movie titles and of course you! Additionally Princess Cinema and other venues often bring backcountry themed movies to KW. If you have a movie idea or know of a movie that is coming to KW feel free to comment below.
