The typical human lifespan is four thousand weeks. Yep - that's all we got. And not just that - we aren't guaranteed to even have that. We aren't guaranteed to have next week.

How much of our time is spent ignoring this reality - ignoring our own mortality? Ignoring the fact that there's no way to organise our life in such a way that we can be everything to everybody and meet all of the possible demands that might be out there. So let's waste a few of those hours talking about this.

This topic comes from the Oliver Burkeman book Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management for Mortals*.* We'll look at the ideas that he brings up as well as bring some of our own to the table. Please message Tess directly if you would like an ebook copy of it. You can find lots of good discussions with the author out there - here's a couple: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0Yupp2W5mI and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFbVuc4eIvE.
