Welcoming Fall - Gratitude walk & talk

Details

Autumn is upon us (my favourite time of year!) so let's get outside for some fresh air and good company while we move our bodies and enjoy nature!

Time spent outdoors has both mental and physical benefits. Studies have shown there are a variety of measurable physiological benefits to spending time in greenspace, and nature-based self-care is associated with lower depression, reduced stress, enhanced positive emotions and mental wellbeing. Plus, it's beautiful this of year and it just FEELS good!

Given September 21st is World Gratitude Day, as we walk the trails we'll chat about the big and little things we give thanks for and reflect on how we can build more gratitude into our lives in the season ahead. (And I'll share some happiness tips from the field of positive psychology) :)

RSVP by noon so we know who to expect and kindly update your response if your plans change.

Please arrive a few minutes early, so we can set out at 2pm (we don't want to leave anyone behind!) The event will go ahead unless there is heavy rain or wind. Dress for the weather! :)

Best to leave dogs at home to be mindful of those with allergies or aversions to animals.
