Eric has responsibility for research and development and the technology roadmap at KX, with a focus on accelerating the expansion of the KX platform across industries.
As an accomplished technologist and leader in software, cloud technologies, infrastructure, and SaaS product delivery, Eric brings a wealth of CTO experience gained at high-growth technology companies serving a broad range of industries including most recently Information Builders. Prior to that, Eric was CTO of Yodle Inc. a digital marketing firm acquired by Web.com (NASDAQ: WEB) and has also held CTO and senior engineering positions within telecoms and networking firms, including at M5 Networks and Line2.
🎤 Nathan Perrem, Senior kdb+ Developer, BGC Partners 🎤
Nathan Perrem has worked in the kdb space for the last 14 years. For the last 6 years, Nathan has worked at BGC/Cantor Fitzgerald as the main kdb architect and quant developer.
For the Cantor Precision Algo Desk, Nathan works with a team of Quants in designing and implementing the kdb research database and Transaction Cost Analysis solution for Cash Equities, FX and UST.
🎤 Samantha Gallagher, Principal Software Engineer, Neueda 🎤
Samantha is a Principal Software Engineer at Neueda and has been working with kdb+ within global Tier 1 investment banks and hedge funds for 7 years. Coming from an Engineering background, she knows first-hand how much effort it takes to not only learn a new programming language in a professional environment but also how important it is to continuously improve on it.
