A New Year and a New World. Atheist Meetup # 3 will be all to do with charity. How much do you give to charities? Do you give at all? Why do religious people give more than their atheist neighbour? Is this even true? If you give to charity, which charity would be best? Or even, are you anti-charity? :O
Let's get together and talk about it. Why do we have the human desire to help those less fortunate? Where do we get this altruism? What the hell is a zero-sum game? Who has time for game theory anyway? How is this even connected to atheism?
