Christmas Eve Bilingual Christian Worship Gathering

Do you love Christmas? Are you curious where Christmas came from and what it's is all about? Is Christmas from the United States? (日本語は下記)

Christmas is a Christian holiday based upon a hope that was first realized thousands of years ago. Every year, people all over the world gather on Christmas Eve at Christian churches to remember and focus on that hope.

Whether or not you are a Christian or have ever been to a church gathering before, we invite you to come join people from all over the world in Kyoto and to experience one of these Christmas Eve gatherings this December 24th at 7pm. It is all bilingual (English and Japanese) so regardless of your English level, it will be accessible to you.

This is a Christian Christmas Eve worship gathering. It will including singing Christmas songs, hearing teaching about Christmas from the Christian Bible, as well as candle lighting.

Due to the international and bilingual nature of the event, we think it could also be a fun way to make friends and practice English. Hope to see you there!

クリスマスは好きですか？クリスマスがどこから来たのか、何のための日なのか気になったことはありますか？クリスマスはアメリカから来た行事でしょうか？

実は、クリスマスは何千年も前に実現した「希望」に基づく、キリスト教の祝日です。毎年、世界中の人々がクリスマスイブに教会に集まり、その希望を思い起こし、心を向けます。クリスチャンであるかどうか、また教会に行ったことがあるかどうかに関係なく、この12月24日（火）19時から、京都で開かれるクリスマスイブ礼拝にぜひお越しください。

英語と日本語のバイリンガルで行われますので、英語が得意でなくても安心してご参加いただけます。

この礼拝では、クリスマスの賛美歌を歌い、聖書からクリスマスのお話を聞き、キャンドルライトの時間もあります。国際的でバイリンガルな集まりですので、英語の練習や新しい友達づくりの機会にもなると思います。
