Around Kyoto part 3 (of 9) Higashiyama

This hike is 4 hours long. With elevations of about 400 - 500 meters.

Meeting point is LAWSON Higashiyama jingu michi. The convenience store.

Meeting time is 09.45 and we start walking at 10.

The route
Himukaidaijingu shrine with an adorable little cave.

We get to the back of Daimonji and go down the Rommon waterfalls. 'Waterfalls' is a loose term here. It is more like water sliding down a rock.

Finishing point is the Okazaki area.

Yes, you can bring a guest. Signing up for one person is enough to participate. Guests also pay the 1000 yen.

What to wear?
Please wear closed shoes. Sneakers are fine for this hike. Dress lightly and comfortably. Wear a backpack. NO hand- or shoulder bags.

What to bring?
Bring plenty of water, snacks and a packed lunch.
