Join us for one of Kyoto’s most spectacular and fiery autumn festivals at Kurama Temple!
You’ll experience a thrilling night filled with giant torches, chanting locals, and a breathtaking atmosphere you can only find in Japan.

During the festival, we’ll also enjoy casual conversations, language exchange, and cultural learning together under the fire-lit sky😊

📍 Meeting Point
We’ll meet in front of seven eleven nearby Demachiyanagi Station (Keihan Line).
If you think you’ll be late, please contact me.
Unfortunately, we can only wait up to 10 minutes, so please try to be on time.

From Demachiyanagi, we’ll take the train to Kurama Station and enjoy the festival for about 3–4 hours.

After festival we can go local bar if you like

⏰ Schedule

• 17:00— Meet at seven eleven nearby Demachiyanagi Station and head to Kurama

• 18:00 — Arrive at Kurama, grab food/drinks and explore the festival stalls

• 19:00 — Fire Festival begins 🔥 (Huge torches carried through the streets)

• 21:00 — Procession heads towards Kurama Temple

• 22:00 — Festival continues late into the night (you can leave earlier if needed)

• Train fare: at your own expense
• Entrance: 500JPY (but bring some cash for food & drinks at stalls)

🕔 Time: 17:00– 21:00
