Kyoto Social Games Club brings Japanese and international residents together for games, conversation, and new friendships. We focus on social games with discussion, deduction, and hidden roles—where getting to know the people around the table is part of the fun.
New to board games? You’re welcome here. We explain the rules before each game and make time for questions. Come on your own or bring a friend.
We currently guide games in English. You don’t need perfect English, but you should feel comfortable following the rules and joining game discussions. Japanese conversation is welcome, and we hope to become increasingly bilingual.
We meet at rented spaces around Kyoto. Each event listing includes the venue, cost, capacity, and other practical details.
Join the group and RSVP to an upcoming game night. We look forward to meeting you!
