This is a relaxed, agenda-free meetup—just a reason to connect and maybe find a little inspiration before heading off to work. Whether you’re coding, designing, building hardware, or simply curious, you’re welcome here.
About the meetup
– No agenda: No talks, no presentations, no pitches. Just builders and makers chatting about building and making.
– Come-and-go format: No hard start or stop time. Show up late or leave early—do what works for your schedule.
– Multilingual: Japanese and English welcome. Other languages too (I just can’t speak them!).
– Traveler-friendly: Whether you’re on vacation or in town for work, you’re welcome.Some conversation starters

重要事項 会場のルール：参加される方は全員、最低2杯のドリンクのご注文が必要です。 定員に限りがあります。ご都合がつかなくなった場合は、他の方に席を譲るため、必ずRSVP（参加お申し込み）のステータスを更新してください。 ハックの進め方 アイデア、スキル、あるいは好奇心を持ってお越しください。個人での作業も、チームでの参加も歓迎します。 小さく作ることが大切です。ボランティアによるプロジェクトのため、小さくリリース可能な単位を目指します。 イベント終了後の継続は任意です。その後も作業を続ける方もいれば、そうでない方もいます。どちらでも全く問題ありません。計画を立てる際は、ハックデイ当日を主な活動時間として想定してください。 オープンソース：すべてのプロジェクトは、私たちのGitHub組織で公開されます： https://github.com/kyoto-tech リリース（成果物の公開）に重点を置きます。コミュニティが実際に使えるものを作ることを目指しています。 初心者を含め、あらゆるスキルレベルの方を歓迎します。ただし、ハンズオンの作業セッションとなるため、HTML、CSS、JavaScriptの基本的な知識があるとスムーズです。
プロジェクトについて 京都のローカルコミュニティのためになるものであれば、どんなものでも対象になります。最初はミートアップ関連のツールから始め、アイデアが出てくるにつれて活動範囲を広げていく予定です。 初期のアイデア例： Kyoto Tech Meetupのホームページ：私たちの活動内容や参加方法を紹介するシンプルなランディングページ。 今月のテーマ：毎月、何を作るかのテーマを設定します。初めての人同士でペアを組み、そのテーマに沿ったものづくりをすることを推奨します。 その他のアイデアも大歓迎です。人と人とを繋げたり、ナビゲートしたり、何かを生み出したりするものをずっと作りたいと思っていたなら、今がその絶好のチャンスです。
タイムスケジュール キックオフ：顔合わせ、アイデアの共有、プロジェクトの決定、チーム編成（30分） ハックタイム：自由な作業時間。必要に応じて出入り自由（4時間） 成果発表（ショーケース）：進捗の共有、デモも歓迎、みんなで称え合いましょう（30分） 開催場所 正確な会場は、開催日が近づいてからアナウンスします。五条駅周辺の場所を予定しています。About Community Hack Day

Community Hack Day is where we gather to create useful, real-world projects for our community.

Venue rule: all attendees are required to purchase at least two drinks.
Capacity is limited. If you can no longer attend, please update your RSVP so someone else can take the spot.
How we hack
Bring an idea, bring your skills, or just bring your curiosity. Work solo or team up with others.
Smaller is better. Since these are volunteer projects, we aim for small, shippable pieces.
Post-hack continuation is optional. Some people will keep going afterward, others won’t. Both are totally fine. When planning, assume your primary contribution window is the hack day itself.
Open source. All projects will be published in our GitHub organization:

Focus on shipping. We aim to build things the community can actually use.
All skill levels are welcome, including beginners. Just note that this is a hands-on working session, so basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will help.About our projects
Anything that benefits the local Kyoto community is fair game. We may begin with meetup-related tools, then expand outward as ideas emerge.

Theme of the Month: every month we will have a theme on what to build and people are encouraged to work with someone new to build something on that theme.
