L Community Meet & Mingle Drinks – FiLiA Weekend (Brighton)

An evening for drinks and conversation as part of the FiLiA weekend. Women come from their 20s to their 60s – some brand new, some regulars. It is usually half new members and half returning members. Most come solo, so you will not feel it.

We’ll confirm the pub location as the event approaches.

This is our Brighton anchor for the weekend – a fixed point to find each other, relax, and connect away from the conference crowds.

We are building the UK’s first female-only lesbian venue. Southwark Council blocked our lawful application. We are now taking them to court in a landmark Equality Act test case. What happens here will decide whether councils across the UK can keep excluding women-only services, or whether they will finally be forced to obey the law.
