LA AI Filmmakers — Kickoff Night (Demos + Networking + Screening)

Welcome to the first official meetup of LA AI Filmmakers — a monthly community for filmmakers exploring AI across the entire pipeline: writing, previs, virtual production, editing, VFX, sound, and distribution.
This kickoff night is designed to be equal parts meet-and-greet and show-and-tell:

• Networking + intros (meet other directors, producers, editors, artists, and builders)
• Member demos (tools, workflows, and short breakdowns)
• Mini screening (AI-assisted shorts, tests, reels, or works-in-progress from members)

Bring a clip, a deck, a workflow you want to share, or just curiosity. Whether you’re brand new to AI tools or deep in production, you’ll leave with new contacts, fresh ideas, and a better sense of what the LA AI film community is building right now.
When: First Thursday of every month
Where: Urban TXT (next to USC) — 2318 S Union Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90007
Parking: Plenty of street parking nearby
