Musical hour at Cafezoide

Hello fellow boogie buggiers,

I'd like to propose this first meet up to get to know you all at one of my favourite places in Paris...

le premier café culturel pour les enfants : CAFEZOIDE!

It would be a pleasure to meet you all at 10am and share the musical hour at 10:30am and for those that want to we can stay for lunch hour at 12h.

The atmosphere at Cafézoïde is 100% for kids and by kids. The lady that founded this place believes it is important that children have a place where they are heard and learn from a young age to make decisions and be involved in the environment around them. The team working there are lead by a fantastic set of values which creates a friendly and open environment full of creative stimulation and space for expression and sharing. They encourage conviviality through the way they structure the day.

For example at lunchtime they eat 'slow food' which is the opposite of 'fast food'. Everyone who is present sits together with their new friends and family to eat and talk and enjoy the lunchtime moment and the food is a healthy home made meal.

'Au Café, c'est Slow food tous les midis, et le plus souvent, on mange végétarien! C'est quoi la "slow food"? C'est de la nourriture qui se mange doucement. Ici, on est pas au Fast food justement!: on prend son temps! On déguste, on apprécie, on découvre de nouvelles saveurs. On s'assoit avec ses amis, ses parents, les "Zactifs" et on échange sur l'activité, la pluie, le beau temps, les joies, les pleurs...En tout cas, on mange sain et on mange bien!'

For the toddlers there is a big room with all sorts of toys and a play ring for them to play together and guardians can sit around and chat.

It's 2.5 euros to get in and this includes either a drink or a plate of food for your little one. I am not sure if they charge for babies under 1yo. The food is delicious! 100% home made by a Moroccan lady who is adored by the regulars.

So I hope this is enough information to entice you to pop along. I hope all of you can make it and that we (I'll be with my tambourine twin and head Boogie Buggy girl- Hannah) get to meet all your little ones! If we can all meet at 10am in the entrance part of the cafe. I'll keep my brown furry winter hat on (it's so cold at the moment!) so you can identify me and I'll probably have a purple or pink tie dye T Shirt on.
