A community for parents in the LA area who are raising (or trying to raise) Cantonese-speaking kids! We are passionate about preserving and passing down Cantonese language and culture. Whether you're fluent, semi-fluent, or just starting your own language journey, you're welcome here.
From casual meetups and playdates to cultural celebrations and resource sharing, our goal is to create a supportive, multilingual village where our kids can hear, speak, and feel proud of Cantonese in everyday life.

CNY Dim Sum 🥟🧧
Bistro 1968, 402 S San Gabriel Blvd Ste A,, San Gabriel, CA, USLet's celebrate Chinese New Year together! There's usually a lot going on right around LNY, so holding a celebration a little bit further out to accommodate schedules.
This time we'll be doing an early dim sum dinner at Bistro 1968! There will be some pre-ordered dishes (like noodles for long life, fish for abundance, etc) and then everyone can also pick their desired dim sum on the spot.
Because this is a restaurant reservation, I will need the exact number of people to tell the restaurant. Please RSVP by Feb 21!
The final price will depend on the number of people we have, but please expect to spend about $20-30/pp for this.If you would like, you can prepare laisee to hand out to the kids, but please limit the $ amounts to $5 or less. Please no pressure to do this though.
