La Dolce Vita is heading to Rustic Bakery, and old-world Italian bakery, nestled in a still predominately Italian neighbourhood in North York.

A Bit of History
Rustic bakery is family-owned and operated. The bakery was originally opened in 1986 by Francesco and Mirella Loiero and remains a family affair with their children and other family members involved in the business. Unfortunately Francesco was shot and killed in 1996 in a parking lot of Weston Produce located near Martin Grove Road and Steeles Avenue in Vaughan.

With its amazing "tavolo caldo", gelato and pasticceria, Rustic Bakery is a community hub and has become a neighbourhood gathering spot, with customers enjoying espresso and conversations in the dining area.
