What's the purpose of the group?
To create a community of people of people that are passionate about making things. Engineering has many elements and we look forward to crowdsourcing knowledge to accomplish our goal of making things better.
Who should join?
Anyone that is passionate about making things. This group is mainly targeted towards engineers but anyone that is interested in making things is welcome to join.
What will we you do?
During our meetings we will discuss engineering related topics in addition to getting tours of manufacturing facilities. Some of the topics include:
Design - Solidworks, Inventor, Driveworks, Automation tools
Prototyping - 3D printing: FDM, SLA, SLS, DMLS
Manufacturing - Lean Manufacturing, Robotics, and Industry 4.0
