COOK 1 TIME...🥘 GET 9 MEALS 🥘🥘🥘! This monthly meetup is designed to save you time and money by cooking 1 meal in bulk.
We had such a great time, last month! It was so nice to have new meals, in our refrigerators, to enjoy for mealtime. Join us!

HOW THE SWAP WORKS:

1. Buy (1) 12 Count box of 16 oz. Wide Mouth Pint Jars with Lids and Labels

These cost about $14.00--Walmart seems to be cheapest.

2. Message Me Your Dietary Restrictions..Sorry, no Vegan or Gluten-free
3. Choose Recipe. No Meat Please. Egg and Dairy are fine. Recipe chosen may be a pre-cooked meal; such as a soup🍲, a crockpot meal🥘, or pasta🍝 which may be frozen in the jar (See Freezing Rules, Below). A salad, 🥗 with the dressing on the side, a healthy dessert🥧, or overnight oats🥣 are another options that can be refrigerated. Homemade granola is also a nice option. These are just suggestions...do you...Don't be afraid to get creative!
4. Check Your Meetup Messages on Friday Before the Event, after 12:00P.M. noon for a message from me, with the number of servings to make and dietary restrictions. There will be no more than 10 participants.
5. Create Meals
6. Place (1 )Single-Size Serving Per Mason Jar
7. Label Each Jar
8. Post a Screenshot of your Recipe in the Comments and Event Discussion Section of this Event Page.
9. Leave One Meal at Home for Yourself and Take the Other Meals to the Restaurant in a Small Cooler or Cooler Bag
10. Put One of Each of the Other Ladies' Jars in Your Cooler or Cooler Bag
11. Enjoy a Yummy Meal With the Ladies and Laugh Your Bootay Off!!

RULES FOR FILLING AND FREEZING FOOD IN MASON JARS:
Rule #1
Freeze food in jars with completely straight sides. Shoulders make a jar more likely to break in the freezer.
Rule #2
Leave extra space at the top of the jar to allow for expansion during freezing. Fill them to the maximum fill line which is about an inch from the top of your jar.
Rule #3
Cool hot liquids and food before freezing. Cool hot jars in the fridge or on the counter, and then move them to the freezer after they’re already cold. Defrost jars in the fridge or on the counter.
*If you need to defrost more quickly, you can usually pop something out of the jar by running it under warm (not hot) water, and then reheat.

Friday, April 28, 2023, before 11 AM, will be the last day for refunds. All sales are final after this, due to supplies having been purchased. Refunds will be given to those who show up to dinner.
🧐Attendance will be taken, for this event. Failure to cancel, by given date for 3 times in a year and you will not be able to attend the Swap for 6 Months. This is to ensure that all of the ladies do not spend money, unnecessarily💗. Thank you!
