Reading, Vocabulary & Music at Central Market!

¡Hola amigos! For our next meeting, we are heading back to Central Market for a mix of reading and music!
This is a safe space for beginners—no pressure, just fun learning together.

Lugar: Central Market (3815 Westheimer Rd). We will meet in the upstairs dining area (segundo piso).
📝 Nuestra Agenda (Our Agenda)
¡Hola! (Warm-up): We will start with a very easy conversation to introduce ourselves and welcome new members.
Lectura y Vocabulario: We will read a short story by Jorge Bucay called "¿Las alas son para volar?" (Are wings for flying?) from the book Déjame que te cuente. We will focus on simple words and useful everyday phrases.
Translating a Song: ¡Música! We will take a popular Spanish song and translate it into English together to learn rhythm, pronunciation, and slang.

¡No tengas vergüenza! (Don't be shy!) It doesn't matter your Spanish level, everyone helps each other here. Remember, you can buy a coffee, drink, or dinner downstairs and bring it up to our table.
