In this presentation, Philip Ross will describe his experiences at MycoWorks and Open Fung in creating mushroom mycelium as an applied material for fashion industries and beyond. While covering the cultural and pragmatic challenges in bringing a new material into the world, this talk will also describe the broader implications of mushrooms as a generative utility.
