Lavinia by Ursula K Leguin part 1

After reading the story of Aphrodite and Anchises, we chose to follow up on Aeneas. In all of the Aeneid, Virgil gave no lines to Lavinia! Ursula K Leguin gives us her side of the story, at long last. This is a beautifully written book full of imagery and imagination that transports you in the lands surrounding the Tiber in the mythical past. I’ve been wanting to reread it, so I’m excited to chat with you about it. Let’s talk about the first half.
