### No-Show Policy

To ensure fairness and respect for all attendees, we have implemented the following No-Show Policy:

• If a participant fails to attend three or more events without prior notice, they will be suspended from all future events for 3 months.
• To avoid a no-show, please notify the organizer at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend.
• Exceptions may be considered for emergencies, but consistent no-shows will result in enforcement of this policy.

About Us
This board game group is part of a growing community shared across three different Meetup groups. It all began in January 2025 at Meet Fresh Boba with just a few players. Since then, we’ve grown steadily, now welcoming 20+ returning members who show up not just for the games—but for each other.

We use board games as a social connector—a way to break the ice, share laughs, and build real friendships. Over time, those connections have extended beyond the table, with members going on hiking trips, grabbing dinner together, and creating lasting memories.

This group was started by Andy with a simple mission: to build a community of ambitious, intelligent, inclusive, and kind-hearted people who are genuinely looking for connection. While the games bring us together, it’s the people that keep us coming back.

Our motto: People first, games second.

By attending Board Game Night, you agree to release and hold harmless the event organizers, venue, affiliates, and partners from any and all liability, claims, damages, or injuries that may occur before, during, or after the event. ### 🃏 Board Game Night – What to Expect for New Players

Welcome! If you’re new, here’s how the evening will go:

#### ✅ Arrival & Setup (1:30 PM – 2:30 PM)

• Doors open at 1:30 PM sharp.
• Upon arrival:
• Sign in at the front table that has the sign
• Pay the $2.00 event fee and order a beverage at the Kiosk
• Collect your name tag, tea light, and masking tape (to write your name on)
• You will be directed to the next available Storyteller (ST) — either Mark or Karl.

#### 🕝Round 1 Game Start (2:30 PM – 4:30 PM)

• Character tokens will be handed out promptly at 2:30 PM.
• Doors close at 2:30 PM – no late entries!
• Round 1 begins at 2:45 PM and runs until 4:30 PM.

#### ☕ Break Time (4:30 PM – 4:45 PM)

• A short 15-minute break to grab a drink, snack, or use the restroom.

#### 🎲 Round 2 (4:45 PM – 6:30 PM)

• Everyone will be rearranged and reassigned to a new ST:
• John or Andy will guide your second game.
• Round 2 ends at 6:30 PM.
