Join us for an Apache Kafka® meetup on Monday, February 14th, at 2:00 pm GMT-4 This meetup will be presented in English. It will be free training with a walkthrough exercise on the Fundamentals of Apache Kafka®!
The session will be run by Doug Hogan, Senior Technical Instructor at Confluent, and will include a presentation on important technical fundamentals. The presentation will include some quick interactivity and be followed by an interactive discussion of a concrete scenario or two. The session will wrap up with an interactive exercise wherein you’ll be able to sign up for Confluent Cloud and experience basic Kafka in action.
As with all Confluent Meetups, it is free, ungated, purely technical, and purely educational.

Bio:
Doug Hogan is a senior technical trainer at Confluent. He works as the course champion for the Developer Skills course and has been working on enhancing interactivity and engagement in Confluent Training. Before coming to Confluent, he spent about a decade teaching university computer science and math classes.
