What we’re about
This is a group for singles in their 20's, 30's, 40's and beyond living in LA and surrounding areas. We will organize fun events of many kinds, and get to know each other and create bond of friendship while participating in fun activities together.
This group is exclusive because:
1. You can become member of the group after meeting certain criteria. However, there is no discrimination based on age, sex, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity etc.
2. Participation in the events regularly (at least one event a month) is expected. If you RSVP, and do not show up, your membership will be cancelled.
3. There is no membership fee, but the events such as movies, concerts, wine tasting, kayaking, camping etc. may incur costs such as parking fee, entree fee, equipment rental fee etc. The group has no commercial purpose, and the organizers will not make any money from the events.
4. Members must to be respectful to each other. There is zero tolerance for creepy behaviors such as stalking, harassing, posting spam etc..
5. This group will rather have 10 solid members who are active participant in the events than thousands of non-participating/flaky members.
6. Most importantly, members need to understand that Meetup is not like Facebook or Instagram. We want to see real you, not your online persona. It is very important to participate physically in the events, and in the process meet people in person and hangout in real life. It's not a virtual group, and this group will not tolerate people who aims to be a virtual member. We will always welcome suggestions from you about what kind of event you like to see organized by the group. So, there is no excuse to not participate in events.
