LACMA JAZZ: Tribute to Barbara Morrison

LACMA, in partnership with the California Jazz and Blues Museum and the Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center present a tribute to the world-renown vocalist and community activist Barbara Morrison. Featuring Barbara’s band The Bu Crew, a variety of Barbara’s vocal colleagues, and friends Elaine Gibbs, Dena Michals, Sylvia Boyd and Karen A. Clark will share her music and stories in this special tribute concert to one of L.A.’s true jazz treasures.
