Back by popular demand, it's another edition of How to Effectively Network to Land Your Dream UX Research Job (formerly known as Happy Hour with a Career Twist!).

Perfect your career elevator pitch with some coaching and practice time over craft brews.

Networking is an important way to land the job you want, but how effective are you at selling yourself? After the success of our last networking event in 2019, LA UX Research Meetup Group has decided to host this event again with the goal of helping you learn to effectively network. We will start with some tips to help you perfect your career pitch at networking events, as well as give you the opportunity to ask some questions from hiring managers. Then you’ll put your pitch into action by networking with other UX professionals. No cost to attend. Drinks will be covered up to a certain limit and then available for purchase on-site.

This will be our first in-person event since pre-COVID. Please join us if you feel comfortable.
