What we’re about
Founded in 2017, the LA UXR Meetup (Formerly the LA UX Research Group) is for researchers, designers, product and tech people of all backgrounds, that care about user-centered design and human-centered research approaches, to inform and build digital products, that don’t just meet business KPIs, but also engage and delight their users.
While the focus of our events is through the lens of user research (AKA UX research), as researchers we are often the bridge in our organizations, connecting design, product, tech, marketing and business teams. Our goal at LA UXR Meetup is to provide events that allow for real human to human connection and opportunities to learn from leading research thought leaders, in Southern California. In a world where AI and automation continues to become ever present in our careers (and personal lives), we want to adapt to this massive transformation by staying informed, while also maintaining our humanity and human-centered approach to research, design and product development.
