Welcome to LA2JP โ Los Angeles ร Japan Community, a social community bringing together people who love the connection between Los Angeles and Japan โ through culture, friendships, events, and shared experiences around the city.

LA2JP was inspired by the growing cultural bridge between LA and Japan โ from food and art to language, lifestyle, and even the excitement surrounding Japanese athletes making an impact in Los Angeles. For some of us, sports were one of the sparks that brought us together โ but the community goes far beyond the game.
We host relaxed, welcoming gatherings across LA, from cultural outings and neighborhood hangouts to seasonal celebrations and game-day meetups. Some members come for the culture, some for the baseball, and many just to meet open-minded people and build real connections.
No expertise needed. No pressure. Just good people, good energy, and a cross-cultural community that feels like home.
