Grab your paddle and help us bring the power of play to La Causa Charter School!
Join us for Rally for Recess, a fun and welcoming pickleball tournament benefiting the Power of Play Campaign at La Causa. Whether you're a seasoned pickleball player or just picking up a paddle for the first time, this event is designed for all skill levels and promises a great day of friendly competition and community.
When: May 16, 2026, 9 am - 2 pm
Where: Premier Pickleball Club and Complex
Registration: Early-Bird Price: $54 per person; Price increases to $60 on May 1!
Register solo or as a team of two.
The Tournament is indoors, round-robin style, with guaranteed games. Players matched based on DUPR scores. The tournament will be run through Scoreholio.
No experience necessary- we will have social courts and coaches if you want to learn the game! So paddles will be availabe to borrow.
All skill levels welcome!
Your participation will help raise funds to transform the outdoor spaces at La Causa Charter School, including:
- Improving fencing and safety around the sports fields
- Renovating the school playground
- Creating a new outdoor classroom for hands-on learning
All donations are matched through the generosity of The Burke Foundation
