Book & Shoot Your First Wedding Workshop
Details
You can already take a good photo — but a wedding moves fast, happens once, and doesn't wait for you to catch up. This hands-on workshop is built for photographers who want to confidently shoot their first wedding and actually get booked.
Led by Henry of Henry M Production, we'll focus on the two things that hold new wedding photographers back the most: knowing how to handle the day, and knowing how to turn this into paying work.
What you'll learn:
- How a wedding day actually flows — from prep to ceremony to reception — so you can anticipate moments instead of scrambling to react to them
- Building a realistic shooting timeline you can hand to couples and follow with confidence
- Surviving the tough moments — low light, fast-moving receptions, and the parts that overwhelm most beginners
- Getting your first clients — free marketing that works, building a portfolio from nothing, and standing out with no experience
- Pricing without guessing — what to charge starting out, how to structure packages, and how to raise your rates as you grow
You'll leave knowing how to walk into a wedding prepared — and how to book the next one.
Who it's for: Photographers comfortable with their camera who haven't yet shot a wedding (or have shot only a few) and want to do it professionally.
What to bring: Just yourself and a notebook — this session is about strategy and the wedding day, no camera required.
