The Spirit
L’Atelier des Non Chefs – Non Chef Edition is a collective, joyful, and inclusive cooking experience for people who love food without needing to be professional chefs.
It celebrates:

  • Learning by doing
  • Sharing knowledge and cultures
  • Simplicity and creativity
  • Community over performance

Each session lasts 1 hour:

  • 30 minutes cooking together
  • 30 minutes eating together

It’s a relaxed, participatory moment to connect through food, conversation, and shared experience.

How to Participate as a Learner
As a learner, you join to:

  • Discover new recipes and techniques
  • Support the cooking process
  • Learn by observing and practicing
  • Share a meal with the group

No experience is needed.
Just bring curiosity, respect for the space, and a willingness to participate.

How to Participate as a Recipe Leader
The Recipe Leader is the host of the session.
You don’t need to be a professional chef, just someone who enjoys sharing food and knowledge.
Your responsibilities:

  • Choose a plant-based, organic, local, seasonal, zero-waste recipe
  • Buy the ingredients with your own money
  • Arrive in advance
  • Set up the kitchen space
  • Pre-cook elements if necessary
  • Guide the group during cooking
  • Choose the playlist
  • Clean up the space after the session

You also bring the story, culture, or intention behind the dish, helping create a warm and meaningful atmosphere.

Financial Contribution – “Participacion Consciente”
L’Atelier des Non Chefs works with a conscious contribution model:

  • The price of ingredients is communicated (from 3 euros to 10 euros)
  • Each participant contributes according to their means
  • Contributions help sustain the kitchen, materials, and collective activities

This system keeps the atelier accessible, fair, and community-supported.
