Welcome to LABV! Please read on for important info...

** All the info you need (exactly where we play, time, directions, parking, etc.) can be found in the info for the meetup EVENT DESCRIPTION.

** No partner needed—just bring your enthusiasm (and maybe a snack)!

** You need to RSVP EVERY SINGLE TIME you want to play, even if you have been coming for years. Go to the LABV events calendar to RSVP to our social play event.

** Please note that in addition to social play, we also offer multiple structured VOLLEYBALL CLINICS on Saturdays - for beginners to advanced players. Taught by our resident "A" rated coach Jack, these events focus on serving, passing, setting, attacking, & teamwork - while gradually introducing more advanced techniques. These lessons are a terrific way to improve your game. Clinics can be found in the LABV events calendar.

** A couple more things:

We have a LABV COMMUNAL BLANKET for sharing food. We hope that from time to time you bring a simple snack if you have time to put something together. Granola bars, fruit, cookies --- just something simple. This will make it easier for you to get to know all the regulars.

The most common question newbies ask is "how do I get into a game?" There are no set teams, but it still might be tough at first to find players when no one knows you or your skill level. Ask an organizer for help with this first, or look for the LABV CLIPBOARDS - where you will see open spots on teams so you can ask players on that team if you can join.

Please DO NOT SOLICIT in the meetup chats for those "Wednesday Games" you are trying to find people for.

Also be sure to look for emails about special events we do from time to time, like potlucks, night volleyball and bonfires. The best way to know about those is to read your LABV emails every week!
