We're missing good cheese so we're off to Paris! Paris is also the biggest biotech cluster in Europe with awesome companies such as DBV Technologies, Cellectis, Enterome & Eligo Biosciences. Who will be speaking?

1. Christine Placet - CEO of Horama

Horama was alerted to Placet’s talent after she had guided Trophos, a company that focuses on spinal muscular atrophy, to positive Phase II/III results and a €470M acquisition by Roche. Last year, she joined Horama, a leading biotech developing gene therapy approaches to ophthalmic diseases, as CEO.

2. Emmanuel Petiot - CEO of Deinove

Deinove, based in Montpellier, develops products from rare bacteria, notably the Deinococcus genus. Emmanuel has led the Deinove ship as CEO since 2013. Prior to this, he spent 9 years in various exciting and important sounding positions at Novozymes, a Danish industrial biotech and world leader in enzymes and microorganisms.
