Group Goal
To create a welcoming, low-pressure community for Labrador retrievers and their humans to connect, socialize, and enjoy the outdoors together.
Who We’re Hoping to Meet
Labrador retriever owners and enthusiasts of all experience levels—families, individuals, first-time Lab parents, and long-time lovers of the breed. Friendly Labs of all ages are welcome.
What We Do at Events
We host relaxed outdoor meetups that include light trail walks, casual dog socialization, and friendly conversation among humans. There’s no formal agenda—just time outside, community connection, and happy Labs.
Safety, Leash & Etiquette
For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, dogs must be leashed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and non-aggressive toward people and other dogs. Owners are responsible for supervising their dogs at all times, following park rules, cleaning up after their pets, and being mindful of other park users. If your dog is having an off day, please prioritize safety and comfort for all.
Parking Information
Please note that the Howard Buford Recreation Area requires a parking fee. Be sure to plan accordingly before arriving.
