2023 Q4 Meeting

Details
Hello? Is this thing on?
You thought we were gone, didn't you? Well, we aren't. We were just resting. Or pining for the fjords.
But now, we're back!
Come join us on December 6th at 5 pm as we relaunch the LabVIEW Architects Forum! Enjoy the evening's technical presentations, and help us plan our 2024 events!
Our user group meeting directly follows the NI TechDay in-person seminar, hosted by Testforce. You can sign up for that event here: NI TechDay. If you sign up for that event, please check the box indicating that you will be staying for the user group meeting!
Topics
All About Collection Data Types - Darren Nattinger
Introduction to the fundamentals of Strings and Arrays, then moving into Sets and Maps, the newest data types in LabVIEW.
Maps, Sets, DVRs, and Classes: A Practical Exercise - Allen C Smith
Collections – maps and sets - were added, without much fanfare, in LabVIEW 2019. These highly useful constructs are still new to many LabVIEW users. In this presentation, we will explore what maps and sets are and how you can use them to solve routine data management challenges. As a practical example, we will use maps, sets, and some additional LabVIEW features together to identify groups of objects that share common search tags.
This is a LOCAL ONLY event, to be held on the NI Austin campus: 11500 N Mopac Expy Austin, TX 78759. (We anticipate remote access at our future events, after we finish reorganizing.)
Important note: NI's visitors must sign in with security to gain access to our meeting space. Due to staffing issues, no one from that team is available after 6 pm. Therefore, anyone wishing to attend this event *must* arrive before 6 pm. We won't be able to admit anyone after that time.
I apologize for any inconvenience. We are exploring options to make this better in the future, but it is our current reality.
