Owl Trail To Cerro Negro

Greetings!

This is a group hike that stays together as we hike. We wait for people to catch up, we don't split into separate groups with one moving faster than the other. If this group doesn't move fast enough for you, please find another that suits you better.

Come join us on a NEW hike this Sunday in the hills of La Canada/Glendale! We meet at the start of the Owl Canyon trail just off Hampstead Rd in La Canada.

NOTE! Please park on the street using the address 4159 Hampstead Rd in La Canada as a guide as to where to park. There is a dirt lot by the trail head for parking as well, but apparently it closes at sunset. Just park on the street and meet at the trail head.

We will follow a shady trail steadily uphill until we gradually end up at the top of a hill by a radio tower, then make our way down a fire road, in a loop. Great views!

Another note: PLEASE STUDY THE MAP/ADDRESS AND COME ON TIME. I CAN'T TAKE THE TIME AT THE LAST MINUTE TO GUIDE SOMEONE TO WHERE WE ARE MEETING WHEN I HAVE A GROUP OF PEOPLE READY TO GO AT 4:10.
