Hi, girls!! How is your weekend going?
Since many members live outside of Torrance, I have ordered a ride in a small black limo and can share the ride with 3 people from West LA. If you'd like to hop in, please let me know. It would be nice if I could give you free ride, but I can't really afford it yet lol, so how about $7 per person for a round trip?

Good news! After talking with Mrs. Hattori, we're now increasing the number to 15 people! :-)
If you know you are no longer able to attend, please change your RSVP ASAP so that other members can get the spot. I'll update the item list periodically. Thanks!
Sally

Dear members,
I know this might offend some male members, but I now feel there is a need to limit this event to female members. I'm not going to discuss nor explain, but this is my decision I've made based on some incidents and I desire to have a meetup where our female members get together comfortably.
What is special about this event is to celebrate Japanese Hina-matsuri (girl's day, March 3rd). Remember Mrs. Hattori, who's a traditional Japanese music player, who taught us some lesson last year and also invited us to a special concert the other day (see the following link)?

I'm very happy to tell you that she's now generously opening her beautiful house in Torrance so that we can come over to take a look at her beautiful Hina-ningyou dolls (attached photo). She even has a set given by her grandmother as well. It's a Japanese tradition to take out a set of beautiful dolls to celebrate the Girl's day.
There are some typical food they eat on Girls' day but it's a little hard to get everything, so I'd like to do it a potluck style. Please sign up with an item (or two if you like) and I'll collect $3 to cover whatever needed (paper plates, utensils, cups, drinks, etc.). Since it's only $3, I'll collect at the door (otherwise Paypal subtract fee).
The address will be sent only to the attendees who indicated what to bring. I'll update the list of items periodically.
Hope to see you there to have some fun time together!
Love,
Sally
