If you have ever wanted to experience tulips, the Dutch have a knack for tulips - fields full of magnificent flowers will be a sight to see as we visit the famous Keukenhof Gardens and take in. the glorious scenery. Do not skip out on this festive, spring journey!!!!

Itinerary & Details:

Day 1 - Arrive at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), and private transportation will take you to your accommodations for the week. After settling into your hotel, your group will get to know each other over a local welcome dinner.

Day 2 - Today you will enjoy a trip to the countryside. You will visit a cheese factory, windmills, 17th-century houses, and fields of tulips. You will have time to wander down narrow streets, past colorful houses, and visit the harbors full of fishing boats. You will have some free time to shop for souvenirs and sample the local fish specialties.

Day 3 - FREE DAY. Enjoy shopping throughout the city or take a scenic bike ride through the countryside. Cycling in Amsterdam is the most authentic way to travel. There are around 515kn (320 miles) of dedicated cycle lanes in Amsterdam, thus making it the perfect setting to cycle the city, or beyond. The countryside area is famous for its quaint villages, historic towns, farms, nature reserves, and lakes. You will have lots of opportunities to stop and t take one-of-a-kind photos of the picturesque sightings. You could walk the city and enjoy all the canals and bridges. There is so much to do in the magical city.

Day 4 - Today, you will take a memorable tour of the Anne Frank House. Discover Amsterdam's WWII history and follow in the footsteps of Anne Frank as she goes into hiding in the Secret Annex. Jewish Anne Frank hid in 1942 from the Nazis during the occupation of the Netherlands; two years later she was discovered and died in 1945 at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. The Diary of Anne Frank was written while she and her family were in hiding during the WWII as they attempted to evade the Nazis. Her famous diary was found and is the most well-known diary of the six million Jews who died in the Holocaust.

Day 5- Your group will spend today at the famous Keukenhof Garden, known as the Garden of Europe. This is one of the world's largest flower gardens and found to be the most beautiful in spring. Keukenhof Park covers an area of 32 hectares and has approximately 7 million flower bulbs planted in the garden annually. Make sure to have your camera ready to capture all of the vibrant colors and unique displays at the Keukenhof Garden! In the evening, visit the Red Light District and attend an erotic show (if desired). We'll wind our way through the cobblestone streets of Amsterdam's most iconic neighborhood to experience the atmosphere, red-lit windows, and off-beat culture of Amsterdam.

Day 6- FREE DAY - Enjoy the cobblestone streets of Amsterdam. Go for a canal boat tour, see the floating flower market, or just relax - it is your day!!! In the afternoon, you will meet with your group and attend a traditional Dutch syrup waffle-making workshop. Learn how to make the world-famous Dutch stroopwafels yourself. This evening, your group will celebrate a wonderful week in Amsterdam.

Day 7 - A private transfer will take you back to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) for your flight to the US.

Moderate Activity - Walking on uneven pavement for 4-5 miles a day. You will encounter many steps. You will need to handle your luggage without assistance.
