Welcome! 😊 Ladies Get It Done is a community for women of all ages and backgrounds to pursue our goals together in a peaceful space.
If you're a crafty grandma, a busy student, an aspiring artist, or a mom with piles of paperwork but also a novel to finish, bring your projects! This is a diverse and supportive place to take time for ourselves.
Whether you join to have fun or to really “get it done” please feel very welcome. Let’s spend quality time together, socialize, and help each other stay inspired!
Q: What is Ladies Get It Done?
A: We are a Huntsville community since April 2024 for women of all ages and backgrounds to pursue their goals. We’d love to hear your ideas.
Q: Who is welcome?
A: All ladies! Crafters, entrepreneurs, artists, writers, aspiring organizers, and anyone else looking for a calm and fun environment to get things done.
Q: What types of projects would I bring?
A: All types! Crafts, schoolwork, art, paperwork, a novel, or anything that fits on a cafe or restaurant table. Or just bring yourself!
Q: What is the mission of the group?
A: To provide a safe and supportive space for women to take time for themselves, make friends, socialize, and stay inspired to reach their goals.
Q: Can I join just for fun or do I actually need to "get it done"?
A: Both! Everyone is welcome, whether you're looking to relax, socialize, or be more productive.
Q: What if I can’t stay the whole time?
A: You can show up later or leave earlier. We’re casual!
Q: What cities do you cover?
A: So far our events are mostly in Huntsville. If ladies could also volunteer to help host events in Madison or in other areas, that would be great too!
Q: Is there any cost?
A: There is no charge to be in the group. If you would like to order coffee, snacks, or a meal when we meet, that’s up to each of us.
Q: What if I’m a new to the group?
A: We were all new when it started! Now we have a group of friends who spend time together, but new ladies attend all the time too and we’d love to meet you. Just do it!
