Rescheduled: Paddleboarding @ Causey (new location & time)

Let's go paddleboarding - location MAY change depending on weather and fire conditions. It is a little remote so carpooling is recommended, and also that helps us all find each other. :) Text me at 801-839-5602 if you have questions!

Meeting Spot:
The Chevron gas station just before you turn to go up to Causey at 8:45 sharp, I'll wait for 15 minutes!

What to Bring:

1. Paddleboard / paddle - I do have an extra paddle I can share. If you have an inflatable board, don't forget your pump! Paddleboards are available for rent from AJ Motion Sports and Canyon Sports if you just want to try it out!
2. Water & sunscreen or sun protective clothing. Water shoes are a good idea as the bottom is rocky.
3. Life vest - these are required by the dept of outdoor recreation, and if officers are patrolling you can be issued a $250 ticket if you don't have one with you.
4. Bring some layers - it can get cooler than expected up there.
5. Not necessary but nice: snacks, a dry box or bag for your phone and keys, and a shore chair. :)
   6. Your Mussel Aware DNR certificate (either a paper copy or store it in the DNR app on your phone). Paddleboards count as boats in Utah, so this is a mandatory certification.

Well behaved pets are welcome, but must be leashed and on the board with you.
