Sintra - Adraga Beach Hike (15km/500m)

**This group is for women who live in the Lisbon metro area**

Hike Description:
We'll hike 15km from Sintra train station out to Adraga Beach. This hike passes through old quintas, ascends into the forest, crosses the picturesque town of Penedo, and finishes on Adraga Beach. Total elevation gain is around 500m.

Wear shoes with a good grip, bring at least 1.5L water, and lunch/snacks as there isn't anywhere to stop until Adraga! We'll hang out and enjoy the beach at the end.

Meeting Time & Place:
Sintra train station - exit north side, meet in front of Pizza Hut (map).
We'll leave promptly at 10:00!
I'll be taking the train that leaves Oriente at 9:06 AM, arriving in Sintra at 9:55.

Other Information:
This is not a circular hike. To return from Adraga beach, we can walk up to Almoçageme (~30 mins) and catch the bus back to the train station. There is a bus every 30 mins. If you're coming by car, you can meet us at Sintra train station and take the bus back from the beach with the group.
