Hike Description:
We'll catch the bus from Campo Grande to Ericeira to begin our hike along the cliffs and beaches. We'll pass through the town and head north along the coast until São Lourenço, enjoying the coastal views and beaches on the way. We'll stop to enjoy a picnic lunch and some time on the beach! From there, we'll follow the same route back towards Ericeira and catch a quick bus back up to the bus station before returning to Lisbon. This hike is about 14km long with 250m of elevation gain.

Wear shoes with a good grip, bring at least 1.5L water, and snacks/lunch. We will be moving at a moderate pace. This hike does not have much shade however it is cooler in Ericeira and now the forecast calls for cloudy/partly cloudy in the morning clearing up by midday.

Meeting Time & Place:
We'll meet at Campo Grande at the 2803 bus stop (P23) at 8:30 AM. The express bus leaves at 8:45AM and they don't wait 🤣... this is an early one but otherwise we are stuck making a million stops on the way.

If you are coming by car, you can meet us directly in Ericeira at the bus stop at 9:40 or Ermida de São Sebastião at 10:00, please leave a note in the comments so we know to look for you. There is parking in the area but I am not sure if it is free or paid.

Other Information:
We'll catch the bus back to Lisbon - there are departures at 2:15, 2:30, 4:00, or 4:45. It takes about 1-1.5h to get back to Campo Grande. All transit is included in the 40€ monthy Navegante card.
