Sintra Hike: Colares - Coast Loop (15km/350m)

**This group is for women who live in the Lisbon metro area**

Hike Description:
We'll meet at Portela de Sintra train station and catch the bus to start in Colares town. We'll hike a loop from Colares out towards the coast, walk along the coast from Praia Grande to Azenhas do Mar, and return inland back to our starting point.

Wear shoes with a good grip, bring at least 1.5L water, and lunch/snacks.

Meeting Time & Place:
Meet at the 1254 bus stop P-3 on the north side of Portela de Sintra station. We'll catch the 1254 bus leaving at 10:10 and get off in Colares.

I'll be taking the Sintra train that leaves Oriente at 9:06 AM, arriving in Portela at 9:52. When you get off the train coming from Lisbon - exit through the gates in the middle of the platform, take the stairs underground, turn to the right, and you'll find the bus stop.

It's also possible to take the 1624 bus from Cascais and meet us in Colares.

If you're coming by car or bus from Cascais and prefer to meet us in Colares - plan to be at this bus stop by 10:25 and leave a comment so we know to look for you!

Other Information:
This is a circular hike. If you're coming by car, you can park somewhere in Colares. There are frequent buses back to the train station.
