Malveira - Peninha Viewpoint + Guincho Beach (15km/300m)

**This group is for women who live in the Lisbon metro area**

Hike Description:
We'll catch the bus from Cascais to Malveira da Serra village to begin our hike. We'll ascend on a wide path through the Sintra/Cascais forest towards Peninha sanctuary, which has incredible views over the entire coast. From there, we'll descend back through the forest towards the coast, ending at Guincho beach. We can enjoy Guincho and then catch the bus/rideshare back to Cascais.

Wear shoes with a good grip, bring at least 1.5l water, and snacks/lunch. There isn't anywhere to stop for food/drinks until Guincho beach at the end. You may want to bring a hat as there is little shade in the last 4-5 km of the hike and a jacket in case of wind.

Meeting Time & Place:
We'll meet at Cascais bus terminal at the 1624 bus stop at 10:00 AM. The bus leaves at 10:10 AM.

I'll be taking the train that leaves Cais do Sodre at 9:00 AM.

If coming by car, it may be best to meet us in Cascais and take the bus with the group or meet us in Malveira and use rideshare to get back at the end - please let me know so I can provide a specific meeting point.
