Movie: Ramla Ali's Biopic - In The Shadows

The biopic of champion Somali boxer Ramla Ali is releasing at the end of October. Posting this as a poll for interest but the exact show times haven't been listed yet so time is to be confirmed. Hoping for an afternoon or evening viewing, will update the event when it is posted.

When I first heard about her story back in the day I found it so inspiring so I'm sure the film (starring Top Boy actress Jasmine Jobson) is going to be good.

"Ramla Ali fled Somalia with her family as a young girl, seeking asylum in London from the Civil War. As a teenager, she pursued her love of boxing, but did so secretly as she knew her family would disapprove. Her determination to win led her to the England Novice National Championship, the Elite National Championships and the Great British Championships, becoming the first ever British female Muslim boxing champion."
