About us
We meet monthly to hear technical talks from leaders in the field, dive into the terminal in our expert workshops and hack whilst developing our code skills in the process.
What if I don’t code?
We are going to be discussing some pretty in-depth, geeky stuff. If you are not deterred by that and are still really excited about coming, you’re more than welcome.
Do I have to be a lady?
If you consider yourself to be a lady, we do too. If you identify as non-binary, you are more than welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Beyond the Happy Path: Non-Functional Requirements in the Age of AI-Assisted Engineering
Performance, security, scalability, accessibility- these are the qualities that make software trustworthy, not just functional. Yet they're routinely under-specified and the first thing squeezed out under pressure. With AI tools now generating code at unprecedented speed, the risk of shipping functionality without these guardrails is real. We'll cover what NFRs are, how to define and test them, and practical strategies for keeping them front-and-centre when you're pair-programming with your AI assistant.
This event is designed to celebrate and support women in the tech industry ( also women who are keen to be updated about the tech world), providing a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
Thanks to The University of Glasgow for hosting us & our sponsors MAC recruitment group for the food & drink!
