Join us for an evening of talks from ladies with a variety of experience in coding and who took different routes on their way to tech careers.
Speakers from different points in their career will discuss their experiences in their tech journey followed by a panel for a Q&A.

Lucy, a previous marketing professional from Australia, and now software developer working in Glasgow, shares her story on why and how she made the change.
Carole Logan (https://twitter.com/crgrieve)
Carole is a senior web developer with an interest in IOT and how technology can help solve real life problems. She will discuss her career path so far, highlighting key points and give advice on what she has learned so far.
Caroline Kirkhope (https://twitter.com/cazkirkhope)
Caroline is an experienced software dev and tech lead with over a decade professionally developing software. Her main interest is web and mobile technologies. Most of her career has been spent working on the Microsoft stack, but she loves learning new tech. Over her career, she has had the opportunity to work on a variety of different types of projects and clients including Disney, Macmillan publishing, Villages hotels and is currently working for Swipii. She is passionate about continuous learning, delivering quality software and how we collaborate effectively to do this well. She is actively involved in the community, one of the organisers of CodeCraft and CodeCraftConf. As she's progressed in her career she has become passionate about leader leadership, how to inspire teams, enable them to self-organise and encourage leaders at all levels.

Cat is a Senior Web Developer for BBC Education. She cares a lot about digital accessibility, loves working with open source and is currently excited about VR, especially in the browser. She started her technology career as an archaeologist, and will tell you why that’s not really as improbable as it sounds.
