Ladies of Code: March Meetup (In person)

From failing to gain entry to computing science to becoming a lecturer at the University of Glasgow, our speaker's journey is anything but conventional.

Knowing first-hand how hard that road can be, she founded Computer Science Academy Africa in 2018, a University of Glasgow-backed initiative that has raised £200k and trained 700+ young people across 13 African countries in Python programming. Many alumni have gone on to build careers in tech and secure international scholarships.
Now a lecturer in computing science at Glasgow, she remains a passionate advocate for young African talent, building bridges and creating the opportunities she once had to fight so hard to find.

This event is designed to celebrate and support women in the tech industry ( also women who are keen to be updated about the tech world), providing a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
