Ladies of Code: September Meetup (In person)
Details
This event is designed to celebrate and support women in the tech industry ( also women who are keen to be updated about the tech world), providing a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
We’re thrilled to welcome Omar Jagana back to Ladies of Code Glasgow joining us as a speaker and a proud male ally. 🙌
His talk starts with a deceptively simple question:
“If the elevator breaks, do you know what floor you’re on?”
As AI makes it easier than ever to build software, Omar invites us to look beyond the “it works” moment and ask whether we truly understand what we’re creating.
We’re excited to have Omar bring his perspective, curiosity and support to the Ladies of Code community. 🚀
Come for the talk. Stay for the conversation.
Thanks to The University of Glasgow for hosting us & our sponsors MAC recruitment group for the food & drink!
