Software Crafts(wo)manship
Details
This month we're hosted by Twitter for an evening of talks around the Software Craftsmanship movement.
6:30pm: Registration & networking (drinks and snacks provided!)
7pm: Start of talks
The first talk will be about Software Craftsmanship in general. Franzi Sauerwein (https://twitter.com/Singsalad) will talk about what it is, what advantages it brings and why she has decided to become a Software Craftswoman.
Franzi currently works at Codurance (http://codurance.com/), helps organise the London Software Craftsmanship Community meetups and is very active in the European Craftsmanship community.
Rabea Gleissner (https://twitter.com/aebar) will give the second talk. She is currently doing a software craftsmanship apprenticeship at 8th Light (https://8thlight.com/) and wants to share some of her learnings and experiences.
Her intention for the talk is to give you an insight into what an apprenticeship entails and to hopefully inspire you to apply some of the apprenticeship practices to your own skills progression.
