Do you enjoy playing a fun, laid back (though still competitive) tournament style Texas Hold'em poker game and meeting new people? Then this may be the group for you! Most of my previous poker buddies have moved out of the area and I'd like to create a fun group of ladies (gay friendly) to get together for a poker tournament at my place in Huntington Beach once or twice a month.
Buy-in is only $10 (re-buys are allowed to a certain point, so if you are all in happy we got you covered :)). We will usually play from around 6:30 pm - 12:00 am. Location is near Bolsa Chica and Heil in Huntington Beach. Beginners are welcome, as long as you want to learn and understand there will likely be a learning curve playing with more experienced players.
I'll bring the table, poker chips and cards... You bring your buy in and any drinks and snacks you'd like. Looking forward to meeting you and tossing some cards!
